Hi,
I bought on 24.11 the printer and since then not much printed (about 1kg PLA).
I wanted to start a new print, but I could not do it successfully.
The printer was connected via USB and showed everything on the display.
The repetition software ran perfectly and could also be connected to the printer.
Only the print could not be started.
Then I pulled out the USB cable and the printer went out.
The LED of the power supply glowed green and the power switch also lit.
Then I looked at the cable on the circuit board and had the result as seen in the pictures.
The printer is not even half a year old... so please help me
This is very frustrating....
Regards
Tobi

Re: Power Supply Problem with Prusa i3 Pro B
The discoloration around that pin suggests a bad connection. Having a loose connection causes heat and it started to melt the pulg, this can lead to a fire and even the solder connection on the board comming loose. I would see if they will replace both the board and the plug for you.
You should remove the board and inspect the solder connections on the back for damage. If it is Ok then you can replace the plug with a new one, or if you are confident in your electrical skills you can try to crimp the metal connecter to get a better fit on the Pin.
Either way i would not run the printer in its current condition.
