cooling fan for pro w

Post by keyser187 » Fri Feb 02, 2018 10:16 pm

hi all,
ok, im trying to install a part cooling fan for the pro w. i have taken the extension cable you get with the kit and cut in half, i then soldered the extruder fan to one half and plugged it in. the other half i have soldered a 3 wire fan which i am going to plug into the pwn slot, the wires into the connector (the one off the extension) are yellow black red but on this https://www.geeetech.com/wiki/images/4/ ... wiring.jpg picture it has it as red black yellow so do i need to swap the red and yellow wires over in the jst connector?

on a side note, where can i get some of those jst connectors to fit the gt2560 so i dont have to keep soldering things together :) ?

thanx

You need to confirm the positive and negative of the interface, the other pin is the signal pin
A multimeter is needed
-Keep your mind and try to test it. :)
