EasyPrint Slicer crash

Post by Bpz53 » Sat Dec 30, 2017 8:14 pm

Hello,

I use the last EASYPRINT version (1.1.7). I control by USB my E180 without any probs. When I load any STL file (e.G; the deer.stl demo file) it appears in the view zone. But when I try to slice it by clicking on "Slicer" a first window appears "Slicing panel" and immediatly another error message windows saying "EASYPRINT has stopped to run".

Any idea ?

Bernard

I've had this happen a few times as well. It has required a restart of the software.
I will take some screenshots if it happens again.

Mine also fails continuously when trying to slice. Closed the program, restart, re install, nothing seems to make a difference. I'll post if I find a cure. Overall, this software for the PC and Mobile seems incredibly unstable.

EasyPrint 3D on Windows 10 is indeed always crashing. Debugging it with Visual Studio gives only this piece of information:

--
System.FormatException was unhandled
Message: An unhandled exception of type 'System.FormatException' occurred in mscorlib.dll
Additional information: Input string was not in a correct format.
--

Perhaps it is because I am using Finnish locale on my machine. I mean, decimal separator is comma, date format is DD.MM.YYYY and so on.

Any help with that would be appreciated.

After hours of tests I decided to forget about the easy print slicing function.
I do use SLIC3R open source and working perfect
