Hello,
Just finished assembling my Acrylic Prusa I3 (with Sanguinololu board) and after connecting it to the computer got some weird text on the display. Just random characters that change each time I plug in the USB cable. Tried switching places the LCD cables, screen started blinking, then started showing these symbols again. Repetier seems to be able to spot the board and even connect to it (shows ambient room temperature for board and extruder), so I guess the firmware should be fine. Could the problem be similar to the one described in this post (http://www.geeetech.com/forum/viewtopic ... 23&t=15930)? I haven't disassembled the board yet as the pins are soldered in and my soldering iron is inaccessible at the moment. What should I do before disassembling? Any advice?

Re: LCD panel displaying weird symbols
When you disassemble the cable, just be careful. The soldered pins are not broken so easily.
Please check if the cables are well plugged. Blinking is because the cables are connected in the wrong slot.

Did what this person did (http://www.geeetech.com/forum/viewtopic ... 23&t=16384). Problem solved.
